Lizzie at Be Good Dog Training has been exactly what I required in beginning my training with my pointer. I have had a mix of 1-2-1 sessions as well as going through the puppy and adolescent classes and I highly recommend them all. Lizzie also met for a 1-2-1 at short notice after really struggling with a stubborn dog that had just started to hit adolescence, she quickly identified where I was going wrong and put me instantly on to the right path for success. I'm now moving onto more breed specific training for working dogs having gained an excellent start under Lizzie's instruction. Thank you.

I really recommend Lizzie at Be Good Dog Training, I came to her classes after having completely lost my confidence with my previous dog who was a challenging rescue case (I was attacked at home unexpectedly, we had been working on managing most of his behaviour for several years working with another behaviourist). I plucked up the courage to have another dog, but a Sprocker puppy 'Merry' this time. Coming to Lizzies puppy rebuilt my confidence and since then Merry has come second in a fun obedience class (at 6 months, beaten by an adult border collie) and we have carried on working on heelwork (still a work in progress when on walks) and are now starting to enjoy Flyball and have returned to Lizzie to work on Agility too. We would never have managed this without Lizzies common sense approach and great classes which work through common problems new owners may encounter such as feed, guarding, socialisation as well as basic training. I am so grateful as I'm getting to see how much fun I can have with a bright, energetic dog beyond going for great walks.

Training my border collies at Lizzie’s classes is so much fun, certainly the best approach to training very young and older dogs and especially working dogs. The dogs feel safe in class and out comes their excitement, they feel confident and no competitive element and they have a great time. I feel so lucky to have found Be Good Dog Training - I’d tried a few others and this is exactly what I was looking for, an excellent trainer in Lizzie who is always so helpful on all aspects of dog training and ownership and is so good with lively working dogs. I have one pup in puppy obedience beginners and my older pup in improvers agility class, Lizzie started us from scratch at agility and we can now almost do a ‘round’ in the correct order. Hey! It's great fun for you and your dog and you learn so much.

Highly recommend the puppy training classes. Our sprocker spaniel did 10 classes with Lizzie. These classes have given us the tools for us to continue her training at home and to build on the basics which we have learnt in class. Our dog is sociable and happy by nature and meeting other dogs at the classes has been fantastic for her. She now knows the basic commands (sit, down, leave etc) and is also now able to “stay” for approx 45 seconds which we never thought we would see. Her recall is good and we are confident walking with her on and off the lead. Lizzie gives you good advice for training and general dog care and we learnt so much from her. The bonus to these classes is the introduction to agility at the end which our mad spaniel absolutely loved and the fact they are held outside which we think was much more relaxed than in a hall somewhere.

I cannot recommend Lizzie & the Be Good Dog Training school enough!! Ralphie and I have been going since he was about 14 weeks old. At 8 month old I now have a well rounded obedient little pup. With outside classes your pup will learn to deal with all the real life sounds and experiences of the real world. Although most people only usually do puppy school for 5-10 weeks these training classes will make you want to not stop coming, we continued all the way through puppy classes and are now in the all age class group learning more and more everytime we go. The agility session at the end of all the classes are a super nice touch too, never did I think my miniture dachshund would be flying over jumps or going over a huge sea saw!! - thank you Lizzie x

I have been taking our GSD Zara to training every week for the last 4 years. Zara is well behaved so why do I continue to take her? She absolutely loves her classes it keeps her brain active and burns off an enormous amount of energy as she is set new challenges. Every week Lizz makes the class interesting and fun for the dogs, there is always some agility at the end of each session. During my years with Lizz I have seen how she has shown owners and their dogs how to get the most out of each other and turned "crazy" dogs into calm well behaved pets.

***** Be Good Training is great quality and very enjoyable. It is rewarding for both us and our dog, Spud. Spud is a large breed and the training has been outstanding to help him socialise with other pups and people! Lizzie is always available to get advice and support in raising a puppy, which has been so valuable for us *****

The classes are fun and relaxed. Liz is excellent at helping owners achieve their individual goals with their dogs and understands that not everyone wants to compete with their dog but just to be safe and build a good relationship. She is very understanding and knowledgeable with rescue dogs.

I tried out a least 2 other puppy classes with my rehome collie & came across Liz & we both love it. Will definitely be working up through the classes for as long as she will have us! Can't wait for my wedding to be out the way so I can start coming to Saturday agility!!!

Made to feel very comfortable while ‘trying’ to train my stubborn 15 month old spinone, who has been coming to Lizzie since 14 weeks but now going through terrible teenage years lol.
Fun, friendly classes and great socialisation for our fury friends.
Great advice always available.
World certainly recommend these classes.
Maybe see you there

I have been taking my 1 year old Shih Tzu, Alfie, to the junior then all age classes for a few months and have seen a big change in Alfie. He is much more confident now and responsive to me, I have even started to walk him off lead (I would never have trusted him before) and he is really well behaved. The classes are fun, Alfie likes them and he always goes home happy and tired. Lizzie is so helpful and always willing to provide advice. I would not hesitate to recommend Be Good Dog Training.

I have been taking our 8 month mad cocker Reggie to Lizzie for 10 weeks plus now and he loves meeting his doggie pals .He particularly likes the agility section as it gives him the opportunity of burning off that excess energy ! We will certainly continue as he is improving every week.

I am so glad we found these classes! Casper has been to four classes now and is already like a different dog! He is not pulling as much, walking to heel and is much friendlier to other dogs and more confident. He is so excited to be there and to see Lizzie (and her treats). He is also enjoying some agility now he is getting used to it and I really enjoy spending this time with him. Thank you

We've been going to Lizz 's training classes every week for over 4 years but only because Oscar the Beagle and I like them so much. And because of them I have a very well behaved Beagle !!!! He loves it!!! We couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Really brilliant dog training classes. Friendly people, such a variation of activities that dogs (and owners!) don't get bored. Liz is a very knowledgable dog trainer who is always happy to give advice. Especially enjoyed the agility tasks that were built into the weekly sessions, and the chance to take part in friendly and fun agility events throughout the summer months.

Fantastic classes and lovely people who are able to adapt to each individual dog and take classes in a way that includes every dog equally. Completely supportive and reliable people who handle my two high energy, high maintenance large opinionated dogs as easily as young puppies. Highly recommended to people who love their dogs and want to have a well rounded happy dog as a member of their family.

Really fun and relaxed classes and both Lizz and Kay are full of great tips and advice on any questions you have about your dog's behaviour. We couldn't have survived our first dog year without their support. Agility classes are fab!
-Sarah & Alfie (rescue sighthound)
Highly recommend this class. We took Alan our delinquent greyhound who we were struggling to control around other dogs that weren't greyhound types. Lizzie was great and now people do not recognise Alan as the same dog. From one who wanted to chase and attack anything small and furry Alan is trusted on his walks to run free. He gets on with all breeds and has reasonable good recall. For those who know greyhounds that is great as they usually start with no recall. Alan is friendly around most breeds and has many doozy friends including Cavapoo, Norfolk terrier and Jack Russell. He is a changed dog and a pleasure to take anywhere thanks to Lizzie

Can't recommend them highly enough. Been there every step of the way with us and Sherlock and we love their classes and the outdoor agility course. Such lovely people.
